Job Description

The Barndo Co. is growing, and we're looking for a driven, competitive, relationship-focused Sales Consultant to join our Knoxville market.

Our Sales Consultants work with prospective homeowners from their first inquiry through the decision to build. You'll respond to inbound leads, make outbound follow-up calls, schedule and conduct consultations, uncover what clients truly need, guide them through our homes and building process, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale.

We provide the brand, leads, product, process, and support. You bring the hustle, follow-up, and ability to close.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $175,000+ annual earning potential DOE

Responsibilities: What You'll Do
  • Respond to inbound leads and conduct consistent outbound follow-up

  • Qualify prospects based on needs, budget, timeline, and readiness to build

  • Schedule and conduct sales consultations

  • Educate clients on our homes and building process

  • Build relationships and manage an organized sales pipeline

  • Overcome objections and confidently ask for the sale

  • Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow-up activities

  • Meet and exceed sales and conversion goals

What We're Looking For
  • Proven success in inside sales, lead conversion, or high-ticket sales

  • Strong phone, follow-up, and communication skills

  • Experience managing a CRM and sales pipeline

  • Ability to quickly build trust and uncover customer needs

  • Confidence handling objections and closing sales

  • Strong organization, follow-through, and accountability

  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset

  • Coachable and committed to continuous improvement

New construction experience is a plus, but not required. Real estate experience or a license is not required. We're more interested in someone who can SELL, CONNECT, FOLLOW UP, and CONVERT .

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven sales success , preferably in inside sales, lead conversion, or high-ticket sales

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and conversion goals

  • Strong phone, communication, listening, and relationship-building skills

  • Proven ability to follow up consistently, nurture leads, handle objections, and close sales

  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and working within a CRM

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, competitive, coachable, and results-driven

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and learning new products, pricing, and processes quickly

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation required

Real estate experience or a license is not required. New construction experience is a plus. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can connect with people, work a lead, follow up consistently, and convert opportunities into sales.
